Resize and crop images online — free and private

This image resizer runs entirely in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to a server, so it's fast and completely private — ideal for sensitive screenshots, product shots or personal pictures. Change dimensions by exact pixels or percentage, crop to a precise aspect ratio, rotate or flip, compress to shrink file size, and convert between PNG, JPEG and WebP.

What you can do

Common size presets

One click gives you standard targets like 1920×1080 (Full HD), 1280×720, square avatars, Instagram posts and stories, and more — no need to remember the exact pixels.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using the HTML Canvas API. Images never leave your device, and the tool works offline after the first load.
How do I reduce an image's file size?
Choose JPEG or WebP as the output format and lower the Quality slider. WebP usually produces the smallest files at the same visual quality. You can also reduce the pixel dimensions to shrink the file further.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Scaling down is essentially lossless to the eye. Enlarging past the original resolution can look soft, so the "Don't enlarge if smaller" option is on by default to prevent upscaling.
Can I resize many images at once?
Yes. Drop in multiple files, set your options, use "Apply these settings to all images", then click "Download All (.zip)".
Which formats are supported?
You can open PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP and (in supporting browsers) AVIF, and export to PNG, JPEG or WebP.
